What Our Colleagues Say
Hear from members of our team about what it's like to work at Place Partnership.
Middlestown Primary has been paramount to the successful start to my teaching career. Professionally, I have received regular, relevant feedback on my teaching and been encouraged to reflect on my progress; practically, I have been offered shoulders to lean on and ears to listen to struggles and issues; and emotionally, I have been supported through the challenges and pressures faced by new teachers. I have greatly enjoyed my time at Middlestown Primary so far and I am hugely appreciative of the team here.
Over 10 years ago I joined Ossett Academy as a Business Administration Apprentice. Upon completion of the course, I was given the opportunity to move into the HR Team and complete various HR-related qualifications. In 2019 I moved over to the Accord Central Team and now provide HR support across the Trust in the West Hub. Thank you will never be enough for the opportunities and support that have been given over the years..
I started working at Horbury Academy in the school's busy kitchen. An opportunity arose for the Science Technician role which I applied for and was successful! Working in the science department has given me many new skills as well as receiving first class training from experienced staff. I continue every day to develop and grow thanks to the academy ultimately leading me to become Senior Science Technician recently.
It has been a breath of fresh air working at Horbury Primary Academy. As a teacher, working in a supportive and collaborative environment is incredibly important and I have received support in all areas of my career and personal life while working here. All the staff are a caring and friendly group of people, who truly put the children first, and make it a very happy place to be.
